Day Four.

Day Four of my training. I've run two days so far, and will run again tonight. Letting my Lean Cuisine settle a bit first. I was somewhat proud of myself today. One of my friends from work took me out to lunch today. Jack in the Crack. I got a grilled chicken salad, and didn't eat the croutons or cheese. Light vinaigrette. Also didn't go out for breakfast, and am having a light dinner.

Yesterday was somewhat epic. Did a good run(for right now) and then did a two hour softball practice. I was pretty sore this morning. But I shook it off pretty quickly. Benefits of still being somewhat young.

I think I want to invest in a heart rate monitor/stopwatch thingamajigger.

  1. I have to tell you, what has helped me more than anything with soreness from running is to stretch right after you run, when your legs are still warm. Good, long stretches, like 30 seconds per stretch per leg. And hydration.

    At least that's what works for me. :)
